After-Hours Experience
The day doesn’t end at 6 p.m. Evening conversations in Kyiv’s restaurants, local cuisine, and a calm, shared experience of city life — from air alerts to autonomous infrastructure at work.
Four days with friends who live here.
A locally guided journey into the city’s resilience, history and recovery — planned door to door, with clear safety protocols and an honest view of what to expect.
True Ground is a collective of Kyiv residents from different professions, together with certified guides. They live and work here every day — so you get not a formal guide but a host who explains the city because it is theirs. It feels like visiting trusted friends who happen to know every corner of the capital.

Travellers, students, specialists, donors. No vetting questionnaire — a short request and a conversation.
A private minivan from Poland, rail as an option. We are open about possible border delays and put safety and comfort first.
No dark tourism. We respect memory and focus on recovery. Every booking includes a fixed donation to a specific initiative — a standard of the company, not an option.
Direct overland travel from Warsaw.
A private, comfortable minivan transfer from Warsaw to Kyiv. We coordinate the border crossing and brief you on the road. Waiting times are unpredictable, so we set aside a full day for a calm arrival at your hotel.
History, urban resilience and everyday life.
Walk the historic Upper City and see the infrastructure of resilience: autonomous businesses, generator culture and the dual-purpose reality of the Kyiv Metro.
A respectful visit to Bucha and Irpin.
We travel to the de-occupied areas of the Kyiv region to see the resilience of local communities, the Romanivka Bridge and ongoing reconstruction.
Meeting the people driving change.
Visit a local volunteer hub and meet the people rebuilding the country’s future. The day closes with a shared discussion to reflect on what you have seen.
Guided transit back to Poland.
Morning departure from your Kyiv hotel. A private minivan takes you back across the border, arriving in Warsaw by late evening.
Your safety comes first. We follow local security protocols and official guidance, and tell you plainly how each one works.
Our guides continuously monitor national alert systems. When a siren sounds, the group goes at once to the nearest verified shelter.
Every itinerary and movement is planned strictly within legal operating hours.
We keep assessing the security situation and may adjust the programme at any moment to keep the group safe.
We manage all logistics on the ground, but travel to Ukraine carries real risk. Medical and war-risk travel insurance is required for every participant.
One package, no surprises. Price may adapt to group size and season.
